It’s September so I put all of my fall junk out. Wreaths, scarecrows, yummy smelling candles .. the whole shebang! I’m hoping my neighbors don’t think I’m a whack job or anything. I just love fall and I’m sick of this horrible warm summer weather! So even if it’s is going to be summer for 3 more weeks and 90 flipping degrees .. I’m pretending otherwise.

I’ve been trying to buy a bulb for my fish tank for the last couple of weeks. The first one ended up not fitting so that took me DAYS to get returned to the store. I’m weird and shy sometimes and I hate going into stores and having to actually TALK to people. I would seriously never do a sales job search if I wanted to be employed. It would never work for me. Anyway … I talked the hubby into returning it for me and then we went off to another store to find the bulb I needed. I found it. Bought it. Brought it home and .. it was broken! The cashier must have thrown it in the bottom of the bag and then dropped everything else on top of it. So back to the store we went with my mercury laden bulb in hand (scary!) and exchanged it. After a horrible time trying to get the old bulb out and replacing it with the new one we now have LIGHT! I can see my fishies again. Thank goodness!! I’m really hoping that this bulb works for much longer than the last one. They are expensive and a hassle to replace. Obviously.

I want a bread machine!! I’m always making a loaf or two by hand but it gets to be so tedious. I’d love an alternative that would require less work and attention from me. I don’t have time to wait around all day for rising, and kneading and shaping.

I’m looking at this Sunbeam bread machine at Amazon. It’s CHEAP! It also seems to get pretty good reviews for the price. I may have to jump in and buy one once payday hits. Of course it will only increase my need for diet pills but .. eh, oh well!

The kids asked for ice cream today and even though I can barely handle anything dairy (and I hate getting them ice cream) I decided to give it a go. That stuff is just too tempting!! At least I tortured myself with something beyond delicious - a marshmallow shake!! I didn’t even realize that they had such a flavor. It was SO good. So, so good. Those 5 little sips that I had were wonderful and then the hubby agreed with me after I gave it to him to finish. Fantastic! That store will have to look into security fence installation because my sweet tooth is going to be going nuts wanting another one.. and another…and another.

I just ordered my second AeroGarden! I was thinking about it and I thought that it would be really cool to be able to have two gardens going at once and the hubby agreed so yay!

I’m hoping it doesn’t take too long to arrive. As it is I feel like I’ve been waiting forever for my tomato seeds to show up. But once it does I’ll be planting the cherry tomato plants in one and the chili peppers in the other! Hopefully I’ll have the fruits of my labor ready to harvest by maybe December. I think it takes a good 3 months at least. Ack. The waiting!!

I wonder if there are any franchise opportunities out there for a master gardener? I would be all over that. lol
